مُصۡلِحُونَ
This verse reveals a great divine mercy towards communities that work for reform.
وَأَهۡلُهَا مُصۡلِحُونَ
and whose people are reformers
Quran, Hud 11:117
In this verse, Allah states that He does not unjustly destroy cities whose inhabitants are reformers. The key word is 'muṣliḥūn', those who act for the good, who repair and improve society. The previous verse shows that these reformers are rare but precious, as they oppose corruption. Today, we can be among these reformers by starting with small just actions around us. Every gesture that promotes good, justice, and integrity contributes to the reform of our community.
Identify a concrete injustice or problem in your surroundings and take a simple action today to address it, such as helping someone in need or promoting honesty.
