أُخُوَّة
In this verse, Joseph comforts his brother by reminding him of their bond.
قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا۠ أَخُوكَ فَلَا تَبۡتَئِسۡ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
He said, "Indeed, I am your brother, so do not despair over what they used to do [to me]."
Quran, Yusuf 12:69
When Joseph's brothers entered upon him, he took his brother aside and said, "Indeed, I am your brother, so do not despair over what they used to do [to me]." Joseph reassures his brother by reminding him of their brotherhood, despite past hardships. This verse encourages us to support our relatives and comfort them. We can be a source of peace for our family, just as Joseph was for his brother.
