الصَّبْر
This verse teaches us that patience and fear of Allah lead to His reward.
إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصۡبِرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
Whoever fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good.
Quran, Yusuf 12:90
In this verse, Joseph acknowledges Allah's favor and reminds that whoever fears Him and is patient will have their reward preserved. Fear of Allah and patience are here associated as qualities leading to goodness. In our daily lives, we can cultivate these qualities by remaining patient in difficulties and acting righteously. This helps us keep trust in Allah.
Today, when you face a difficulty, take a moment to say: 'I am patient and I fear Allah,' then act with kindness.
