Change begins within

This verse reminds us that our condition only changes if we change what is within ourselves.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوۡمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمۡۗ

Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.

Quran, Ar-Ra'd 13:11

In this verse, Allah states that the change of a community depends on its own inner change. It is not a matter of fate, but of responsibility. Angels watch over us, but our spiritual and moral evolution remains in our hands.

In daily life, this means that our actions, thoughts, and intentions shape our reality. If we want to improve our lives, we must start by improving our hearts and behavior.

Today, identify one negative habit or thought that you can replace with a positive one, and put it into practice.
