This verse describes those who endure with constancy while seeking Allah's pleasure.
And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly.
Quran, Ar-Ra'd 13:22
This verse brings together three attitudes: patience, prayer, and generosity. Patience is linked to the intention to please Allah, not mere resignation. Prayer structures the day and reminds us of what matters. Giving secretly and publicly purifies the heart and helps others. In our daily lives, we can cultivate this patience by keeping a sincere intention, praying on time, and sharing what we have, even a little. These simple acts strengthen our bond with Allah and bring peace to our days.
Today, perform your prayer on time and make a discreet donation, even a small one, seeking Allah's pleasure.
