السَّلَامُ
This verse announces to patient believers a greeting of peace from the angels.
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُم بِمَا صَبَرۡتُمۡۚ فَنِعۡمَ عُقۡبَى ٱلدَّارِ
Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.
Quran, Ar-Ra'd 13:24
In the previous verse, the angels enter upon the believers from every gate. Here, they greet them with peace. This peace is linked to their patience: it rewards their endurance in faith and trials. This peace is not just a wish; it is a welcome in the hereafter. It teaches us that patience is never lost. Today, we can cultivate this inner peace by remaining steadfast in our efforts.
Take a minute to say inwardly: 'I am patient to obtain Allah's peace,' then perform a small action with constancy.
