The promised bliss

This verse gives great news to those who believe and do good.

طُوبَىٰ لَهُمۡ وَحُسۡنُ مَـَٔابٖ

"... will have the best state and a good return."

Quran, Ar-Ra'd 13:29

The verse brings together two conditions: faith and righteous deeds. To them, Allah promises 'ṭūbā', a great good, and an excellent return. The previous verse speaks of hearts finding peace in the remembrance of Allah; here, hope becomes clear: sincere faith and right actions lead to a happy end.

In our daily life, this promise encourages us to persevere. Every sincere small action counts. We can nurture hope by remembering that our effort is never lost.

Today, do one simple and sincere good deed, like a smile or a help, hoping for the promised bliss.
