شُكْر
This verse reminds us that livestock are a creation of Allah for our use.
وَٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمَ خَلَقَهَاۖ لَكُمۡ فِيهَا دِفۡءٞ وَمَنَٰفِعُ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:5
Allah has created livestock for us. They provide warmth, food, and other benefits. This verse lists these blessings without explicitly linking them to gratitude, but it invites us to consider them. In our daily lives, we use these resources without thinking. Taking a moment to recognize their origin can help us appreciate what we have.
Today, before eating, say mentally: 'Allah created this for me' and thank Him for this blessing.
