نِعْمَة
This verse invites us to contemplate the beauty of animals as a gift from Allah.
وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسۡرَحُونَ
And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture].
Quran, An-Nahl 16:6
In this passage, Allah reminds that livestock provide warmth, food, and transport. He adds that they also give beauty. Their presence beautifies the moments of return and departure to pasture. This beauty is a favor to appreciate. Today, we can notice the grace of an animal, whether a bird, a cat, or a horse. This contemplation helps us thank Allah for His blessings.
Observe an animal today and take a moment to appreciate its beauty, then say inwardly: 'Alhamdulillah'.
