This verse reminds us that rainwater is a gift from Allah for our drink and for vegetation.
It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals].
Quran, An-Nahl 16:10
In this verse, Allah reminds that He sends down water from the sky. This water is for drinking and makes plants grow that feed livestock. Thus, water is the source of life and nourishment. Whenever we drink water or see green plants, we can think of this verse. It helps us become aware of Allah's kindness to us.
Today, while drinking a glass of water, take a moment to reflect on this verse and say inwardly: 'Allah, You are the Best Provider.'
