عَقْل
This verse invites us to contemplate the order of the world to recognize Allah's power.
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ
Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:12
Allah reminds us that He has subjected the night, day, sun, moon, and stars for us. Their regularity is a sign of His wisdom. Those who use their reason understand that this order did not come about by itself. In our daily lives, we can observe these wonders. Contemplating the sunrise or the changing seasons helps us remember Allah and be grateful to Him.
Today, take a minute to observe the sky or nature and reflect on the order within it.
