أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ
This verse teaches us a humble and wise approach.
فَسۡـَٔلُوٓاْ أَهۡلَ ٱلذِّكۡرِ إِن كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:43
In this verse, Allah reminds that He sent before the Prophet ﷺ men who received revelation. Then He addresses those who do not know: let them ask the people of the message, that is, those who possess knowledge. This statement encourages recognizing one's limits and seeking knowledge from competent people. In our daily lives, we often face religious or practical questions. Instead of guessing or following baseless opinions, we can adopt this attitude: ask those who know. It is a sign of maturity and piety.
Today, identify a question you have about your practice and ask a trustworthy person who has studied the religion.
