يَتَفَيَّؤُا
This verse invites us to observe nature and see the submission of all things to Allah.
their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they are humble.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:48
Allah asks humans: have they not seen that the shadows of all His creatures lengthen and move, as if prostrating to Him? This natural movement is a sign of humble and continuous submission. When we observe the shadows of trees, mountains, or our own bodies, we can remember that all creation obeys Allah. This invites us to meditate on His greatness and strengthen our own humility.
Today, observe a moving shadow and take a moment to say 'Subhan Allah', meditating on the submission of creation.
