Let us contemplate rain as a sign of Allah's power.
And Allah has sent down rain from the sky and given life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who listen.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:65
This verse invites us to observe the rain that falls from the sky and brings life back to arid land. This revival is a clear sign of Allah's power. The previous verse speaks of the Quran as guidance and mercy; the next mentions pure milk from cattle. Thus, Allah multiplies signs in nature for those who listen. Today, we can meditate on this sign when we see rain or a growing plant. It reminds us that Allah is able to bring life to what is dead, and that He is close to us through His blessings.
Observe rain or a green plant today and say 'SubhanAllah' while recognizing Allah's sign.
