This verse invites us to contemplate creation to find lessons.
And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:66
Allah draws our attention to animals. From their bellies, between excretion and blood, comes pure and pleasant milk. This amazing phenomenon is a proof of Allah's power and an invitation to reflect. In our daily lives, we often see ordinary things without paying attention. Yet, every detail of creation can remind us of Allah's wisdom and kindness. Let us take time to look and meditate.
Today, observe a glass of milk and reflect on its origin: meditate on Allah's power that brings it forth pure from the animal.
