Rest in Our Homes

Allah reminds us of a daily blessing we often forget.

وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُيُوتِكُمۡ سَكَنٗا

And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest.

Quran, An-Nahl 16:80

This verse from Surah An-Nahl speaks of Allah's kindness in giving us homes where we can find rest. It also mentions light tents made from animal hides, useful while traveling, and furnishings from wool, fur, and hair. All of this is a sign of His mercy.

Today, we have houses, furniture, and clothes. We can appreciate them as gifts from Allah. Recognizing these blessings helps us be grateful and use resources moderately.
