بَلَاغ
This verse reminds us that our role is to convey the message clearly, without being attached to others' reactions.
فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ
But if they turn away, then only upon you is [responsibility for] clear notification.
Quran, An-Nahl 16:82
In this verse, Allah addresses the Prophet ﷺ: if people turn away, his responsibility is limited to clear delivery. He is not to worry about their response. The previous verse mentions Allah's blessings, and the next notes that many deny them. Here, the Prophet is relieved of the outcome. We too can share advice or a reminder. If the other does not accept it, it is not a failure. Our duty is to speak the truth with clarity and kindness, then leave the rest to Allah.
Today, share a useful reminder with one person, without expecting them to accept it.
