إِحْسَان
Every action, good or bad, has a direct effect on yourself.
إِنۡ أَحۡسَنتُمۡ أَحۡسَنتُمۡ لِأَنفُسِكُمۡۖ وَإِنۡ أَسَأۡتُمۡ فَلَهَا
“If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, [you do it] to yourselves.”
Quran, Al-Isra 17:7
This verse reminds us that our actions do not go unnoticed. Doing good is first doing good to ourselves. Doing evil is harming ourselves. Allah tells us this reality to encourage us to choose good. In daily life, every gesture counts. A kind word, a helping hand, a task done with care: all of this builds our own inner peace. Conversely, negligence or unkindness hurts us as well.
Today, do one small useful thing for someone, even a smile or an encouraging word, and notice how it makes you feel good.
