عَطَاء
This verse reveals the vastness of Allah's generosity towards all.
مِنۡ عَطَآءِ رَبِّكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ عَطَآءُ رَبِّكَ مَحۡظُورًا
from the gift of your Lord. And never has the gift of your Lord been restricted.
Quran, Al-Isra 17:20
In this verse, Allah says that He grants His gifts to everyone, without distinction. The word 'ʿaṭāʾ' refers to this generous gift. The verse clarifies that this gift is never withheld from anyone. This shows that Allah's generosity is immense and accessible to all. We can turn to Him with confidence, knowing that He gives without measure. This certainty brings peace to the heart and encourages us to be generous towards others.
Today, perform a simple act of generosity: offer a smile, help, or a kind word to someone, reflecting Allah's generosity.
