This verse teaches us to be fair in our dealings.
And give full measure when you measure, and weigh with an even balance. That is the best [way] and best in result.
Quran, Al-Isra 17:35
Allah commands to give full measure and weigh with an even balance. This is part of justice in exchanges. The verse states that this attitude is best and best in result, without specifying how: it may concern this life and the Hereafter. In our daily life, this goes beyond the scale. Being honest in service, work, or promises is applying this spirit. Today, we can do a concrete act of justice.
Today, make sure you give back exactly what you borrowed or promised, without holding anything back.
