أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا
This verse reminds us that the beauties of the earth are a test to reveal who acts best.
إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا مَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ زِينَةٗ لَّهَا لِنَبۡلُوَهُمۡ أَيُّهُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلٗا
Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.
Quran, Al-Kahf 18:7
Allah has adorned the earth with goods, landscapes, and resources. These attractions are not an end in themselves: they serve to test us. The question is not who possesses the most, but who acts with the most sincerity and quality. Each day, we choose between following our desires or aiming for excellence. Improving the quality of our actions means performing them with care, awareness, and right intention, even in small tasks.
Today, choose an ordinary action (a task, a word, a service) and perform it with more care and sincerity than usual.
