الْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ
The verse compares fleeting possessions with deeds that last.
وَٱلۡبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتُ خَيۡرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابٗا وَخَيۡرٌ أَمَلٗا
But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.
Quran, Al-Kahf 18:46
This verse brings together two realities: wealth and children, which adorn this worldly life, and enduring good deeds, which are better with Allah. It does not say wealth is bad, but that it does not last. Enduring deeds remain and give solid hope. In our daily lives, we can choose what truly matters. A simple action, like a useful word or a kind gesture, can be more valuable than a possession that wears out.
Today, do one good deed that can last: for example, share a helpful tip or help someone quietly.
