فَرِيّ
Mary faces her people's accusations with silent dignity.
قَالُواْ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـٔٗا فَرِيّٗا
They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented."
Quran, Maryam 19:27
In this verse, Mary returns to her people carrying her child. They accuse her of a grave act, calling it 'fariyy', meaning something monstrous and unheard of. Mary does not reply with words; she entrusts herself to Allah, as shown in the previous verse where she vowed silence. This attitude teaches us to remain calm and dignified when falsely accused. We can choose not to justify ourselves immediately, but to leave our situation to Allah and let the truth emerge.
Today, if someone criticizes you unfairly, take a minute to stay silent and say inwardly: 'I entrust my matter to Allah.'
