Abraham invites his father to follow the knowledge Allah has given him.
There has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path.
Quran, Maryam 19:43
In this verse, Abraham speaks gently to his father. He does not look down on him. He reminds him that Allah has granted him knowledge that his father has not received. This knowledge is not for pride, but a means to guide to the right path. We too receive knowledge. It can illuminate our choices and help us walk on a straight path. The knowledge received from Allah is a gift to share with kindness.
Today, think of a useful piece of knowledge you have received and share it with someone respectfully.
