صِدْق
The Quran describes the prophet Ishmael as a model of sincerity in his commitments.
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلۡوَعۡدِ
He was true to his promise.
Quran, Maryam 19:54
In this verse, Allah mentions Ishmael and describes him as 'true to his promise'. This means he kept his word and did not break his commitments. This quality is associated with his status as a messenger and prophet, showing its importance. In our daily lives, we can cultivate this sincerity by being reliable in our words and actions. Keeping promises, even small ones, builds trust and reflects sincere faith.
Today, fulfill a promise you made, even a simple one, or commit to a small action and complete it.
