آيَات
This verse invites us to contemplate rain and vegetation as signs of Allah's goodness.
وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٗا مِّن نَّبَاتٖ شَتَّىٰ
and sent down from the sky rain and produced thereby categories of various plants
Quran, Taa-Haa 20:53
In this passage, Allah reminds us that He made the earth a bed and inserted roadways. He also mentions rain that brings forth various plants. These blessings are not random: they are signs for those who reflect. Whenever we see rain or a plant, we can remember Allah's generosity. This gratitude helps us appreciate what we have and take care of it.
Today, observe a tree or a plant and thank Allah for the rain that makes it grow.
