تَزْكِيَة
This verse announces a great reward for those who purify themselves.
وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
And that is the reward of one who purifies himself.
Quran, Taa-Haa 20:76
Verse 76 of Surah Taha describes the Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing beneath them, promised to those who purify themselves. The previous verse clarifies that these are believers who do righteous deeds. The purification mentioned here is thus linked to faith and actions. Purifying oneself means turning away from sins and returning to Allah. It can start with small daily gestures: seeking forgiveness, correcting a bad habit, or doing a good deed. Every effort counts.
Today, take a minute to ask Allah's forgiveness for a past mistake and decide on one small action to improve yourself.
