إِعْرَاض
This verse warns us against abandoning the Quran.
مَّنۡ أَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَحۡمِلُ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وِزۡرًا
Whoever turns away from it will bear on the Day of Resurrection a burden.

The Quran is a reminder from Allah. Turning away from this reminder means refusing to listen to it and follow it. This verse announces that this attitude will have a heavy consequence: carrying a burden on the Day of Resurrection. In our daily lives, we may sometimes neglect the Quran, due to forgetfulness or lack of time. This verse invites us to stay close to this reminder, to read it and reflect on it, to avoid that burden.
Today, read at least three verses of the Quran with their meaning, and reflect on one teaching to put into practice.
