الصَّلَاة
This verse invites us to make prayer a family pillar and to persevere in it.
وَأۡمُرۡ أَهۡلَكَ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ عَلَيۡهَاۖ لَا نَسۡـَٔلُكَ رِزۡقٗاۖ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُكَۗ وَٱلۡعَٰقِبَةُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰ
Enjoin prayer upon your family and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the best outcome is for righteousness.
Quran, Taa-Haa 20:132
Allah commands the Prophet to enjoin prayer on his family and to be steadfast in it. He clarifies that He does not ask for provision; He provides. Thus, prayer is not a burden but an act of trust. In our daily life, we can gently invite our loved ones to pray, without pressure. We can also remember that our material needs are in Allah's hands, which eases our worries.
