تَسْبِيح
This verse shows us the constant worship of the angels.
يُسَبِّحُونَ ٱلَّيۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لَا يَفۡتُرُونَ
They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.
Quran, Al-Anbiyaa 21:20
In the previous verse, Allah states that the angels are not too proud to worship Him and do not tire. Here, He describes their action: they glorify Him without ceasing. The word tasbīḥ means to declare Allah's perfection, to praise Him, and to recognize Him as free from any imperfection. This uninterrupted worship invites us to incorporate moments of glorification into our day. We are not angels, but we can pause for a few moments to say SubhanAllah, whether walking, waiting, or working.
Today, take three pauses to say SubhanAllah with sincerity, reflecting on Allah's greatness.
