آيَة
This verse invites us to contemplate the sky as a sign of Allah's power.
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقۡفٗا مَّحۡفُوظٗاۖ وَهُمۡ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِهَا مُعۡرِضُونَ
And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.
Quran, Al-Anbiyaa 21:32
Allah reminds us that He made the sky a protected ceiling. This verse follows the mention of mountains and precedes that of night, day, sun, and moon. It thus brings together several wonders of creation. The sky is not mere decoration: it is a sign showing Allah's greatness. Yet many people turn away from these signs. We can choose to pay attention. Looking at the sky, observing its order, is already a way to meditate on Allah's creation.
Today, take a minute to look at the sky and thank Allah for this protected ceiling.
