فِتْنَة
This verse reminds us that every soul will taste death and that we are tested with good and evil.
وَنَبۡلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ فِتۡنَةٗ
And We test you with evil and with good as a trial.
Quran, Al-Anbiyaa 21:35
This verse associates the certainty of death with the idea of trial. It does not say that evil is a punishment or that good is a reward. It brings both together as tests. This vision helps to be patient in hardship and humble in success. In daily life, we go through ups and downs. Each situation can be seen as an opportunity to turn to Allah and maintain a right attitude. The awareness of returning to Allah gives meaning to these moments.
Today, choose a recent difficulty or joy and thank Allah by saying: 'This is a trial, I seek Your patience.'
