دُعَاء
The Prophet Job, in distress, turns to Allah and acknowledges His infinite mercy.
وَأَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّـٰحِمِينَ
And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
Quran, Al-Anbiyaa 21:83
This verse shows Job (Ayyub) who, in difficulty, addresses Allah directly. He does not describe the nature of his affliction, but he acknowledges that Allah is the Most Merciful. This supplication combines the recognition of his own weakness and trust in divine mercy. In our daily lives, we can imitate this attitude. Instead of complaining or despairing, we can call upon Allah simply, acknowledging His mercy. This verse encourages us to invoke Him in every situation, whether in joy or in sorrow.
Today, take a moment to make a personal supplication, starting by acknowledging Allah's mercy, as Job did.
