Everyone reaps what they sow, and Allah is never unjust to His servants.
ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيۡسَ بِظَلَّـٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ
That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants.
Quran, Al-Hajj 22:10
This verse addresses the one who turns away from the right path. It reminds him that the consequences of his actions come only from himself. Allah does not wrong His servants in the least. In our lives, we often reap what we sow. If we sow goodness, we see its effects; if we sow negligence, we face its consequences. This invites us to be responsible for our choices.
Today, before acting, ask yourself: 'Would I be satisfied to reap what I am about to sow?'
