Gardens beneath which rivers flow

This verse gives us a glimpse of the reward for believers who do good deeds.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّـٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ يُحَلَّوۡنَ فِيهَا مِنۡ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبٖ وَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِيهَا حَرِيرٞ

Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.

Quran, Al-Hajj 22:23

This verse brings good news: those who combine faith and good deeds will enter gardens with rivers flowing beneath them. There, they will be adorned with gold and pearl bracelets and wear silk garments. These images show Allah's generosity to His servants.

In our daily lives, we can nurture hope by remembering that every sincere effort to do good, even small, is valuable. This encourages us to persevere with confidence.

Today, perform a sincere good deed, even a small one, while thinking of Allah's promise.
