Knowledge that leads to humility

This verse shows how true knowledge leads to faith and humility of the heart.

وَلِيَعۡلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهِۦ فَتُخۡبِتَ لَهُۥ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ

And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it.

Quran, Al-Hajj 22:54

In this verse, Allah associates knowledge with recognizing the truth. Those who have been given knowledge recognize that the Quran is the truth from their Lord. This recognition leads them to believe and to submit their hearts with humility.

Knowledge is not just information: it transforms the heart. When we learn the truth, our heart opens and humbles itself before Allah. This helps us stay on the straight path, as mentioned at the end of the verse.
