أَمَانَةٌ
This verse describes an essential quality of believers: faithfulness to trusts and promises.
وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ لِأَمَٰنَٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَٰعُونَ
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
Quran, Al-Muminoon 23:8
The verse brings together two related attitudes: taking care of entrusted goods or secrets, and keeping one's promises. It does not say this makes one perfect, but that it is part of the believers' conduct. In daily life, this means being trustworthy in small matters: returning a borrowed item, respecting an agreed time, or keeping a confidence. These actions build a recognized reliability.
Today, take a concrete action: return a borrowed item or keep a promise, even a small one, before the end of the day.
