This verse reminds us that our senses are a gift from Allah.
And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.
Quran, Al-Muminoon 23:78
Allah has given us hearing, sight, and hearts. These abilities are not by chance. They come from Him. Yet we often use them without thinking of Him. The verse associates these gifts with gratitude: we should be thankful for them. Today, we can show our gratitude by using these gifts for good. Listen to something beneficial, look at something good, reflect with our hearts. This is a concrete way to thank Allah.
Today, use your hearing, sight, and heart to do a good deed, then say: 'Alhamdulillah'.
