إِحْسَان
This verse invites us to a noble reaction when faced with wrongs.
ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ
Repel evil by that which is better.
Quran, Al-Muminoon 23:96
In this passage, Allah commands to repel evil with what is best. This means responding to an offense with a kind action, not with revenge. The following verse reminds us to seek refuge with Allah from the incitements of devils, highlighting the context of conflict or provocation. In daily life, this could be answering a harsh word with a gentle one, or a hurtful gesture with a helpful deed. This attitude defuses tension and reflects a peaceful heart.
Today, if someone wrongs you, respond with a kind action, like a smile or help.
