صَبْر
This verse teaches us that patience is rewarded with success.
إِنِّي جَزَيۡتُهُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡفَآئِزُونَ
Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success].
Quran, Al-Muminoon 23:111
In this verse, Allah speaks of those who endured patiently. He tells them that He has rewarded them and that they are the triumphant ones. The previous verse shows that they were mocked and ridiculed, but they persisted. Here, Allah associates patience with reward and success. In our lives, we may face difficulties or mockery. This verse encourages us to remain patient, for Allah sees our efforts. Patience is not mere waiting: it is a strength that leads to success.
Today, when you face a difficulty, remember this verse and choose to be patient, keeping in mind that Allah rewards those who endure.
