خُطُوَات الشَّيْطَان
This verse warns us against a subtle temptation.
لَا تَتَّبِعُواْ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِۚ
Do not follow the footsteps of Satan.

Allah addresses the believers and asks them not to follow the footsteps of Satan. Following these steps leads to immorality and wrongdoing, as the verse states. The previous verse reminds us of Allah's grace and mercy, and the next one calls for forgiveness, showing that purity comes from Allah. In our daily lives, these steps can be small compromises, hurtful words, or negative thoughts. Choosing not to follow them is to protect our hearts and actions.
Today, before acting, ask yourself: 'Am I following the footsteps of Satan?' If so, choose a righteous action instead.
