جَنَّةُ الْخُلْدِ
This verse compares the fate of the wicked with the reward of the righteous.
Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination."
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:15
In this verse, Allah asks the Prophet to pose a question: is the punishment mentioned just before better, or the eternal Paradise promised to those who fear Him? This Paradise is described as a reward and a final destination. The next verse specifies that its inhabitants will find there everything they desire, forever. This promise gives meaning to our efforts. In the face of difficulties, we can remember that our true home is with Allah. Today, we can take a simple step that brings us closer to this hope.
Take a minute to meditate on this verse and make a sincere intention to do a good deed today, hoping for the eternal Paradise.
