فِتْنَة
This verse reminds us that difficulties between people are a trial that calls for patience.
وَجَعَلۡنَا بَعۡضَكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ فِتۡنَةً أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرٗا
And We have made some of you as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing.
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:20
In this verse, Allah reminds that the messengers were ordinary humans, eating and walking in the markets. Then He says He has made some of us a trial for others. This means our relationships, with their ups and downs, are a test. The question is: 'Will you have patience?' When someone annoys us or wrongs us, it is an opportunity to practice patience. Allah sees everything, He knows our efforts. We are not alone in facing these difficulties.
Today, when faced with an annoyance, take a deep breath and say inwardly: 'I am patient, Allah sees everything.'
