إِحْيَاء
This verse invites us to reflect on rain as a sign of Allah's mercy.
لِّنُحۡـِۧيَ بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةٗ مَّيۡتٗا وَنُسۡقِيَهُۥ مِمَّا خَلَقۡنَآ أَنۡعَٰمٗا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيرٗا
That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men.
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:49
In this verse, Allah explains that the water sent down from the sky has two effects: it revives a barren land and it provides drink for animals and people. These two blessings are combined in the same divine act. Rain is not just a weather phenomenon; it is an act of mercy that touches all of creation. When we see rain falling, we can pause for a moment to acknowledge this gift. This recognition can make us more attentive to the beauty of nature and to the dependence of all living beings on their Creator.
