تَبَارَكَ
This verse invites us to look up at the sky and acknowledge Allah's blessing.
تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجٗا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجٗا وَقَمَرٗا مُّنِيرٗا
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars, and placed therein a burning lamp and a luminous moon.
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:61
The verse begins with 'tabaraka', meaning 'blessed is He'. It praises Allah who has set constellations in the sky, a shining sun, and a luminous moon. These are signs of His greatness, but the verse does not specify their purpose. Today, we can observe the sky and say 'tabaraka Allah' while recognizing His blessing. This contemplation helps us appreciate creation and remain humble.
Take a moment today to look at the sky, whether it's the sun, the moon, or the stars, and say inwardly: 'Tabaraka Allah' (Blessed is Allah).
