هَوْنًا
This verse describes an essential quality of God's servants.
يَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنٗا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا
who walk upon the earth humbly and when the ignorant address them, they say: 'Peace'.
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:63
In this verse, Allah describes His servants as those who walk on earth with humility (hawnan). They are neither arrogant nor provocative. Moreover, when ignorant people speak to them harshly, they reply with words of peace, without arguing or retaliating. This attitude can be applied in our daily life: on the street, at work, or in the family. We can choose to stay calm and respond gently, even when provoked. This reflects inner strength and trust in Allah.
Today, when someone speaks to you rudely, respond with a word of peace or remain silent, keeping a humble attitude.
