ذُكِّرُوا
This verse describes a quality of the servants of the Most Merciful.
وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَمۡ يَخِرُّواْ عَلَيۡهَا صُمّٗا وَعُمۡيَانٗا
And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:73
In this verse, Allah describes His believing servants: when they are reminded of His verses, they do not ignore them. They do not pretend not to hear, nor do they turn away. Instead, they stop, listen, and reflect. In our daily lives, we can be distracted by many things. When a verse is recited or mentioned, we can choose to pay attention. This helps us better understand our faith and live according to its teachings.
Today, choose a verse from the Quran, read its translation, and ponder it for a few minutes.
