صَبْر
This verse shows how patience is rewarded with a high place and a peaceful welcome.
أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يُجۡزَوۡنَ ٱلۡغُرۡفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَيُلَقَّوۡنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةٗ وَسَلَٰمًا
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace.
Quran, Al-Furqaan 25:75
This verse addresses those who, as mentioned in the previous verse, call upon Allah for their family and wish to be guides for the righteous. Their patience is rewarded with an elevated dwelling in Paradise, where they receive a welcome of peace and salutation. In our daily lives, patience may seem difficult, but this verse reminds us that it leads to deep serenity. Today, we can cultivate this virtue by staying calm in the face of minor annoyances, keeping in mind the promised reward.
Today, when you face a difficulty, take a pause, breathe deeply, and remind yourself that your patience is precious. Perform a simple action with calmness and perseverance.
