The prophet Hud reminds his people that he is a trustworthy messenger.
إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger.

In this verse, Hud affirms his mission with an essential quality: being amīn, trustworthy. This statement shows that sincerity and reliability are at the heart of the prophetic message. Hud asks nothing for himself; he conveys a call to piety. In our lives, this trust is reflected in our words and commitments.
