This verse teaches us to seek reward only from Allah.
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds.
Quran, Ash-Shu'araa 26:127
In this verse, the messenger of Allah declares that he does not ask for any payment for conveying the message. He clarifies that his reward is with the Lord of the worlds. This shows complete sincerity: acting without expecting recognition from people. In our daily lives, we can apply this by doing good deeds discreetly, without seeking attention or reward from others. Our intention should be pure, for Allah alone.
Today, do a good deed in secret, without telling anyone, with the intention of pleasing Allah.
